Spectacular !

This card was made for my son's 19th birthday tomorrow. I can hardly believe it... how time flies ! It would be hard to describe this sweet boy in one word ... but one of those words would be " active". He is always moving. Loves sports, loves the outdoors and will try just about anything once ! So here is my card. I colored everything with SU markers and an aqua painter on watercolor paper then layered everything, centered the biker and then adding the left and right panels slightly over the middle with dimensionals. Added the sticky dots that I have had in my stash forever . Recipe as follows. Be back tomorrow with more .
Stamps: Stampington, sentiment unknown
Ink : StazOn black , SU markers in Real Red, Brocade Blue, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, chalk white ink pen , aqua painter
Paper: SU
Embellishments: sticky dots, dimensionals

Hugs

Happy Saturday , friends ! Here's my card for you today. And another Valentine too. This card is pretty much self explanatory . I stamped and embossing the heart with clear EP and cut out. I colored in the white flowers on the heart with creamy caramel to match the DP. I mounted the heart with dimensionals. I punched out a little " c" shaped hole after the word " hugs" to insert a gemstone. Sorry for the poor photography. I'll keep working on posting better pictures . :) Hope you can see the detail work. Recipe as follows. Have an enjoyable Saturday !

Maybe the " old " one will show up in FL . Todays challenge post is a little bit late. I chose to CASE a card by Vicky Gould . She was the Featured Stamper on January 20th. What a gallery she has ! Spring Sparkle

I thought I would post an older card from my stash for you today. Unfortunately, I do not have the paper companies listed but they were purchased at Archivers. The stamp is by Hero Arts. I cut out the opening in the vellum with an oval Nestie. The flower was stamped with black Staz On and colored in with markers, highlighted with a glitter pen and cut out with an oval Nestie also. I then mounted the flower with dimensionals into the opening of the vellum. A mesh rainbow ribbon was added . What do you think ? It's warmer in Ohio today. A very welcome respite from the cold . Happy Friday !

Simple Elegance

I found this paper pad by Momenta at Hobby Lobby that intrigued me. Simple yet lovely colors and embossed pages. I chose to use this blue grey and the cream from the pack . Hearts were cut out with Nesties. The small heart is from an embossed page. Don't know if you can see but it's truly lovely . I layered everything , added a cream ribbon to the top and a pearl heart in the center and round pearls to the bottom edge. What do you think ? Have a wonderful day !

Bear Under the Weather

I found this cute little polar bear sticker set in the clearance bin at WalMart and immediately knew what I wanted to do with these little guys. The white panel was run through the Cuttlebug and then sponged with Versamark and Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat set to create an icy look. The snowballs were cut out with Nesties , run through the Cuttlebug also and sponged/ embossed the same way. The little snowflake gel stickers fit perfectly inside the embossed snowflakes. The bear and snowballs were mounted with dimensionals and the sentiment added. Have a restful Sunday.

A Rose for You

I chose to CASE a card that Cindy Lawrence posted several days ago . Don't you just love this puppy from My Favorite Things ! I changed the color and the layout slightly and left out the ribbon. Love how it turned out! The color of the papers is gorgeous. DP is from K&C " Smitten" paper pack , the pup was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with markers and an aqua painter. A pink gemstone was added to the pups collar. Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!

Vintage Valentine

One of the few Valentines I will post. This card was made with K& C "Smitten" paper pack . The hearts were cut out with the Cuttlebug and the corner embellishment is a Sizzix die . The charm is from Michaels. I glued a gemstone to the heart and added ribbon, source unknown. There you have it ! Thank you so much for visiting .

Vellum Butterfly

This card could be used as a Valentines card. The butterfly was stamped on vellum and cut out. The background was run through the Cuttlebug . Primas and brads finish off the look .

My First Posting ...CHEERS !

This card was made late last year for a friend who loves sunflowers. I thought it appropriate for those of us who need some sunshine on a snowy cold day !
