WooHoo ... two cards posted in two days ! That's a good feeling ! First , I want to apologize for the " busy" photo. I take my shots in my stamping room right by the big picture window which ,unfortunately, is also where my mess is, so I really hope you can see the card for the clutter ! One day I'll get the photo "cube" which should make things better. Now onto the card. This card was made for the Stampin Sisters in Christ #1 challenge which is use to food or drink on your card. I've had this cookie stamp ( Mail Expressions) for years and thought it would be fun to ink it up again. The sentiment( Darcies ) was broken up into two . Both the cookies and the sentiment were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa. The sentiments were cut out with a tag Nestie. The cookies were embossed slightly and then the chips were colored in with a Chocolate Chip ( !) marker to make them pop a little. They were then cut out and popped up with dimensionals. The papers are by K&C 's Wild Saffron pack. The upper left corner of the dp was paper pierced on reverse to make it stand out a little better. Buttons ( Hero Arts ) and ribbon finish off the look . I would so love to have some real chocolate chip cookies today( yum, yum ) but gotta watch that cholesterol !
Have a good Wednesday !

Hi Crystal! :) This is sooo CUTE! Thanks so much for playing along in our first SSC Challenge and for posting our badge!! We are looking foward to the good things God has in store for all of us. Hope you'll continue playing in the challenges as you get time! :) Remember, we also have a special Guest Designer this Sunday! :) Have a blessed day!
This is just so very cute!! Love the DP, the bling and the tiny buttons!! Hmmmm now I want a cookie! LOL!! :)
Hey Crystal! Cute card! Love the cookies! Yummy!
Ha! That's NOT clutter! You don't have to get a cube...just lean two pieces of white cardstock up against something and crop out the edges...cheaper. Hugs, Lisa
Love your card! It has such a lovely vintage look! I see Lisa already gave you the tip about using cardstock as a background. I lean my CS against a large vase, and place another piece under the card. It works great! Happy stamping!
Another tip: Picasa 3 is a free download. Do a search and find it on the web. It is great for editing pix. You can use the "Text" in the "Basic Fixes" section to watermark your pix. That's what I use for my name and date. Hope this helps!
Cute and Yummy!! I am on a diet so those cookies look especially yummy right now. Love your take on the SSC challenge!! Great design!! Perfect!
Very cute! Those cookies look delicious!
